This week was interesting, to say the least. I definitely dealt with some ups and downs this week. On the upside, I shot an amazing session on Monday that was a lot of fun and allowed me to explore some fun, creative ideas. I also had family in town that I was able to see twice this week.
On the downside, I have been working really long hours this week and they have consisted almost entirely of editing. Last year I was a complete workaholic and it is something I have been working hard to change this year. This week has just been the kind of week where everything piles up and I knew that if I wanted to spend Easter with my family, I had better pull some late nights!
The late night editing sessions have resulted in some headaches, which are never fun. Luckily, I am just about caught up with everything. After a late night of work tonight I should be fully caught up and ready to enjoy Easter weekend with my friends and family.
I’m looking forward to a more balanced week next week!
This week I am loving:
★ That it actually feels like spring.
★ This baby cardigan that Bobbi made is beautiful! Five of my friends are currently pregnant so I can’t wait until she opens up her Etsy shop this fall!
★ I never knew that chocolate molding was so easy! I definitely plan to use it for some fun baking projects!
★ I’m pretty sure Anna Kendrick is supposed to be my BFF.
★ I’m pretty excited about the Girl Meets World trailer because Corey and Topanga are one of my all time favorite TV couples. I won’t lie and say that the child actors don’t seem to be a bit over the top (which is common for Disney) but I am hoping they can hone their skills with help from the experienced actors on set.
★ The following quote has really resonated with me this week:
“Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.” -Bertrand Russell
★ Making summer travel plans.
★ Mail from friends who live far away.
★ Easter is this Sunday which means delicious cupcakes are in my future!
Have a great weekend!
