Being grateful is something that I try hard to practice year round, not just when November rolls around. Just like anyone, I have horrible days where I feel like everything that could have gone wrong, certainly did. On those days, it is especially important to remember that I have so much to be thankful for. I practice daily gratitude with my gratitude journal. At the end of each night, I reach over to my nightstand to pick up my gratitude journal and record at least one thing I am grateful for that day.
Reflecting daily on what you are grateful for is a rewarding practice and a reminder to appreciate all that we so often take for granted.
