A lot goes into the process of finding the perfect hotel in New York City.
Just like with any other destination, you want something clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, in New York City, it is also important to stay somewhere where good food and entertainment are in walking distance, a subway stop is close by, the area is safe, and city noise is at a minimum at night. If you are like me, you want all of those things AND a decent price tag.
Enter, Row NYC.
John and I normally avoid staying anywhere near Times Square but we made an exception recently because we knew we would be switching hotels halfway through our trip and I wanted something that was affordable and convenient for our first two nights of our trip.
The location of Row NYC ended up being absolutely perfect. It was just out of Times Square, close to the theater district. We had a subway stop on our block and plenty of great restaurants and lots of entertainment close by.
We were able to check in early and the hotel delivered fresh cookies and Voss water to our room shortly after our arrival. The design of our room was amazing. The room was bright and modern, and made me feel at home and relaxed.
In addition to gorgeous guest rooms, the hotel also boasts an internet lounge full of iMacs, a state-of-the-art fitness studio, a cocktail lounge, a European express cafe, a Neapolitan pizza bar, and a gift shop that carriers more magazines than Barnes & Noble. My favorite part of the hotel though, was definitely City Kitchen. Delicious food from all over the city can be found in City Kitchen and John and I loved that we could stop in there and grab a hot preztel or share a delicious donut.
If you are in the city, be sure to check out City Kitchen and if you are visiting, I highly recommend staying at the Row NYC.
