Appreciate what you see in the mirror.
When was the last time you looked in the mirror and took the time to appreciate what you saw looking back? Often times, we stand in front of the mirror and pick ourselves apart. Covering up flaws and “fixing” imperfections is another way that many people spend their time in front of the mirror.
It’s easy to point out our flaws and focus on what we don’t like. This week, I challenge you to spend some time in front of the mirror and instead of focusing on what you don’t like, point out all of the things you love about yourself. After you have listed them, spend some time just looking in the mirror and appreciating them. Try to do this every day this week for a few minutes. Making this a daily practice will make it easier to focus on what you love about yourself every time you look in the mirror.
