Happy Halloween! Today is my second favorite holiday and although we are keeping things pretty simple this year, I am looking forward to celebrating this evening in Celebration. John and I have plans to join Melissa and Nick and give out candy this year. This may not seem like a big idea to some of you but I have lived in an apartment for the past four years and before last year, I use to go out for Halloween, so I have never been able to give out candy before! I have tried and failed a few times…the trick or treaters just don’t show up an apartment complex.
Last year, John and I stayed at our apartment with friends to carve pumpkins, watch movies, and unsuccessfully hand out candy. This is where I discovered that I am actually quite good at pumpkin carving. I might squeeze in some time between work and handing out candy to carve another one this year!
