Happy December! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Unfortunately, it’s also the time of year that many of us neglect to take care of ourselves properly due to the stress and chaos that the holidays can bring. To combat this, I came up with an awesome plan to help you practice self-care this holiday season with a 12 Days of Christmas Self-Love Challenge! Every morning, I’ll be sharing a quick and easy self-love challenge for you to do that will help make your holidays happy and bright.
1. Look in the mirror and pay yourself a heartfelt compliment.
Today’s challenge will take you less than five minutes! Head over to the mirror and look at yourself. No, REALLY look at yourself. Review all the things about you that are perfectly imperfect. Appreciate the miracle of your working body and think about how your body allows you to do so many wonderful things on this earth. Be grateful for your muscles, your skin, and all the parts of your body that are uniquely yours. Now find your favorite part of your body, look yourself in the eye and tell yourself out loud how fabulous that part of you is.
For me, this challenge sounds like this:“Charisma, your hair is AMAZING. Also, your eyelashes are pretty awesome.”
