It’s that time of year again! Halloween is here and I may be a bit too excited considering I am in my 20s. Regardless of how old I am, Halloween makes me feel like a little kid again. I enjoy all things Halloween related and it has always been one of my favorite holidays. After all, it is the kick off of the holiday season!. I know that the next few months will be full of laughs, friends, family, photographing, traveling, music, crafts, cooking, baking, and delicious food! Basically, all the makings of some amazing memories.
For those of us that are not going out tonight, there are still a ton of Halloween related things to do tonight. John and I are having friends over for dinner and dessert followed by pumpkin carving and Halloween movies. I may even work on adding to my fall wreath from last year. I think it would be fun to add a little something to it every year and see what it ends up looking like five years from now.
We originally were going to carve our pumpkin last week but with our week long trip to North Carolina, we ended up without any extra time. However, I have a Marvel book for pumpkin carving so that makes up for our tardiness. I have no problem with leaving a carved pumpkin out past Halloween. To be honest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas always over lap in our house!
If you are not sure what you are doing tonight, why not try one of the following?
Watch a scary movie.
Watch Hocus Pocus!
Paint your nail Jack Skellington style.
Hand out candy.
Carve a pumpkin.
Roast some pumpkin seeds.
Have a healthy pumpkin smoothie.
Save your pumpkin insides for all products beauty products.
Brave? Make a pumpkin tiramisu (and then send me some)!
Happy Halloween!
